Mike has been leading the worship at Bethany Community Church since July of 2008, and joined the staff in August of 2009. Prior to that he had been involved in lay ministry at Bethany Baptist Church while working in the financial industry. Additionally, he has five years of experience in youth ministry having served as a youth pastor.
Mike has a Master's degree in Worship Leadership/Discipleship from Clark Summit University and his Bachelor's degree in Bible/Theology & Elementary Educatoin from Appalachian Bible College.
Mike and his wife, Jana, have three kids, Emma (13), Jacob (5) and Madeline (4).
In addition to worship ministry at BCC, Mike oversees The Gospel Institute and also helps in the Biblical Counseling Ministry. He loves spending time with people at the Blend, listening to good live music, and seeing his beloved Cubbies win.
