Awana Clubs (Bring a Friend Night)

Awana Clubs for kids ages 3 - 5th grade will be held at Camp Good News, 26010 Liberty Lane, Washington, IL.. The clubs meet each Wednesday from 6-7:30 p.m.

Awana is a dynamic ministry that begins after Labor Day and ends in May. The name Awana is an acronym for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed,” which is taken from 2 Tim. 2:15. The purpose of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. Each club night consists of three half hour segments including teaching time (large group lesson), book time (where children recite Bible verses they have worked on at home), and game time (fun games played).  Children are divided into club groups (Cubbies, Sparks, Truth & Training) based on year in school/age.
