Kent has been on staff since January 2012. Kent and his wife Janell have been a part of the Bethany Fellowship of Churches since 2008 and came to Bethany Community Church with the church plant. Kent has been in the ministry of biblical counseling since 1999 and currently oversees Bethany Community’s Biblical Counseling Ministry. He has been a member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors since 2010. Kent and Janell were married in May of 1977 and have three children, Gwen (married to Tim), Warren (married to Christy), and Gina (married to Andy) and 11 grandchildren.

In addition to his role at Bethany Community, Kent enjoys date nights with his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and when time allows, anything outdoors, like shooting, hiking, building things, and especially anything involving water (like fishing, boating, skiing, swimming).
