EDGE Retreat Begins!

The EDGE 2019 Retreat will be on November 1-3 at Little Galilee Christian Camp and Retreat Center (7339 Little Galilee Rd. Clinton, IL  61727).  Our Theme is "Walking in the Light."  The cost is $50 for the 1st student, $45 for each additional student. Registration will be open through October 17th.

We will be meeting at BCC on Friday (11/1) at 5pm to leave as a group on a bus. Please eat dinner before you come as we'll only be having snacks at the camp later that night. We should be arriving back to BCC on Sunday (11/3) at noon to be picked up by parents right after church.

What to Bring:

• Bible/Pen/Notepad (phones will NOT be allowed to be used as a Bible, so please bring your Bible!)
• Warm & Grubby clothes for outside activities
• Sleepwear
• Pillow/sleeping bag/sheets for twin bed (please label with your name!)
• Toiletries
• Towel/washcloth
• Board/card games for free time
• Medication (to be turned into Janelle Sauder at Check-in)
• Participation Form (if you have not filled one out for this year yet, we need this form in order for your child to attend the retreat)

What NOT to Bring:

Any electronic devices of any kind such as iPods, CD players, radio, headphones, hand-held electronic games, etc. If we see students playing on these devices, they will be taken away. You may bring cell phones for calling/texting home (with a leader’s permission), but any other use will be prohibited (such as calling or texting your friends, playing games, social media, etc.).

  • 7:30     Time with the Lord
  • 8:00     Breakfast
  • 9:00     Meeting #2
  • 10:45   Activity #2
  • 12:30   Lunch
  • 1:30     Free time
  • 3:00     Meeting #3
  • 5:00     Dinner
  • 6:00     Activity #3
  • 8:00     Bonfire
  • 10:00   In rooms / Reflection time
  • 11:00   Lights out / sleep
