Grades 9-12
Our goal is to help students grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ by partnering with parents in the spiritual development of their children. We realize that it is the Lord’s working in a person’s life that brings about change.
On Sundays, we meet in room 101B at 9:00am for Sunday school. Our time on Sunday starts with fellowship, followed by a Bible lesson. There are several men who rotate through the teaching schedule. After the lesson, we break up into small groups for the remainder of our time together, which is grade and gender based. Each small group has two or three adult leaders of the same gender. This small group time is a very special part of our ministry as strengthens relationships between the students and small group leaders, thinking through age-appropriate applications from the lesson, and praying together.
Wednesday night Youth Group during the school year is from 6-7:40pm. We meet at the church building. At 6pm, we start with Game Time, either in the gym or outdoors, weather permitting. Around 6:30, we move into the high school youth room for Worship. We have a group of high school students who lead Worship, which consists of three songs. After Worship, the EDGE (middle school) and IMAGE split into their respective rooms for teaching time. Following the lesson, snacks are provided and the students split into their small groups, which are the same groups as on Sunday mornings.
Every month, we try to do an extra youth activity in order to build relationships with other students and leaders. Some activities are service projects and others are just for fun. At times we enjoy these activities with our EDGE group. This winter we'll be heading to the Uplands for our 2026 High School Retreat! Check out our church calendar for more information.
