Sunday Worship Service at 10:30am

Can I be sure I'm going to heaven?

Yes, you can be sure you have eternal life in heaven based on the Bible's claim in 1 John 5:13 that says "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. (ESV)" Contact us to receive more verses that say the same message!

At Bethany Community Church, we want to meet the needs of our community. If you have a need-whether it is a spiritual need or a physical need-we want to hear you and see if we can serve you. We keep your request confidential, and it is only shared with our staff members to best serve you. Please email us at info@bethanycommunitychurch.org.
"By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:35

There are many hardships in life. Our sin is our biggest! Our greatest joy would be to see you place your faith in Jesus Christ alone to pay the penalty for your sin!

Wondering how one becomes a Christian and how one's sins are paid for? See below for these four words: God, Man, Jesus, and Response.

God
Who is God? God is our Holy Creator and is just and merciful.
Exodus 34:7 - keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgressions and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty.

Man
Who is man? Man is a sinner and must pay the penalty for our sin.
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Jesus
Who is Jesus? He is God’s Son and can pay for man’s sin.
Romans 5:8 - But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Response
How can I have my sin paid for? Asking God to forgive you and help you repent by trusting in Christ alone to rescue you from the penalty of sin.
Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

What do you think about this? Would you like to trust in Christ, repent of your sin, and begin a relationship with God? You can confirm your decision to trust in Christ through prayer.
“Dear God, I admit my need for you. I repent (turn away) from my sinful lifestyle (ways). Thank you for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die for my sins so I can be forgiven. I trust in Christ alone to rescue me from the penalty of my sin. I want to follow Jesus Christ, the King of my life, in faith from this day forward. In Jesus name, Amen.”

A person who has made this kind of decision needs to G.R.O.W:
G – Go to a church to learn more about God
R – Read the Bible and pray
O – Obey God’s Word
W – Witness or tell others how they can be saved from their sin.

Would you want to connect with someone from Bethany Community to keep discussing these things? Would you and your household want to join us at our worship gathering this Sunday?

Please let us know by emailing info@bethanycommunitychurch.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
