Phil Smith - Family Pastor

Phil started working at Bethany Community in 2013 as a youth intern following his graduation from Christ Seminary and became the Youth Minister in 2016 after getting his M.Div from Faith Seminary. In 2022 he joined the eldership and took on overseeing the Childrens, Youth, & College ministries as the Family Pastor. Along with teaching & disciplieship Phil loves getting to counsel & do life with people & has been ACBC certified since 2020 with additional specializations in Marriage & Reconciliation & is currently pursuing his Formation Certificate through CCEF.

He and his wife, Jennie, have 4 children & love doing life with them.

Restaurant: I like almost everything & variety is the spice of life, but honestly, I've yet to get bored of Chipotle

Sport: I'll do a pickup game of anything, but soccer has always been my favorite
