Valerie Lindner - Office Assistant

Valerie has been a member of BCC since 2022 and began work as the Office Assistant in 20025.  With a degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, she was employed as a Certified Diabetes Educator working with adults and children.  While raising a family, she transitioned from that work into substitute teaching, then building technologist for her children's school.  Once her children were launched, she pursued a lifelong dream of becoming a florist, and has done that professionally for 9 years.  In addition to the Office Assistant role, Val volunteers in the Awana ministry and Nursery ministries, and enjoys serving alongside her husband in the SOS ministry and wherever the church may need her.  Val and her husband, Tim, have a son and daughter and 5 handsome grandsons.

Ministry close to your heart?
All of them for various reasons!  Specifically, I am so inspired by hearing of how international missionaries are bringing the gospel to the unreached.

What is a Scripture verse that is meaningful to you?
"I have been crucified with Christ.  It is no longer I who lives, but Christ who lives in me.  And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."  (Galations 2:20) Revelation 5:5 is another favorite.
