Kirk grew up locally, in Roanoke, and attended the University of Illinois. He studied accounting and has worked in this field at Caterpillar since 1994. In the summer of 1992, Kirk met Lisa, and they were married less than a year later. God has blessed them with four sons; TR, Parker, Christian, and Adam. They live in the country outside of Metamora.

Ministry close to your heart?  
Lisa and I love investing in families and kids...we have been engaged in BCC youth ministry since our oldest son was in middle school. I teach junior high Sunday school and we both lead student small groups.

Finding some interesting historic place to explore with the family (Parker would likely ensure that the afternoon included ice cream)...alternate choice is sitting on the patio reading, with a tall glass of iced tea, and grilling hamburgers for dinner.
