VBC for this summer, originally scheduled for June 8-12, has been canceled. We anticipate providing an alternate activity/plan for later this summer if current restrictions are lifted or lightened. In the meantime, below is the info from last year so you can get a taste of how we do VBC at BCC!
Online Registration has ended, but walk-ins are accepted each morning of VBC, June 10-June 14. Plan to arrive a few minutes early and head to the Registration table - entering K-2nd at Bethany Community Church and those entering 3rd -6th grades at the Farmhouse property, both on Dutch Lane.
Howdy! Grab your saddle and get ready to ride to Vacation Bible Camp! We are headed to Giddy Up Junction where the adventure is as big as the western sky! Make a discovery more exciting than gold - the good news of God's love has saving and life changing power that will make a difference on any frontier! Invite some friends and join the fun!
WHO: VBC is for children entering Kindergarten (age 5 by September 1) through those entering 6th grade. Registration is based on grade entering this fall.
WHEN: June 10-14 from 9:00am-12:00pm
LOCATIONS (both on Dutch Lane, Washington IL):
Bethany Community Church at 27577 Dutch Lane: K-2nd grade (age 5 by September 1)
BCC Farmhouse at 27265 Dutch Lane: 3rd-6th grade
If you have children at each location, come early so you can drop each child off at their location with time to spare!
CLOSING PROGRAM: Parents and friends, you are invited! On Friday, June 14, we'll have a combined closing program at 11:30am in the BCC Multi-purpose Room. Leaders will bring the Farmhouse kids to BCC in time for the program. All children K-6th will be signed out at BCC on Friday following the program at noon.
WHAT TO BRING: Bible, sunscreen applied and wear "camp" clothes and tennis shoes. Please do NOT bring cell phones, music players or any electronic device.
If you have any questions, please call the office at 309-508-1755.
The purpose of our Vacation Bible Camp ministry is to glorify God as we use a day camp setting to partner with parents to intensively and creatively proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord to their children so that they might worship Him forever (Prov. 4:1-4).
