Join us for a weekend of learning and growing in the Gospel Truths designed to encourage you as you disciple others or as you strive to parent and instruct your children with grace and wisdom for the glory of God alone.
We are excited to again be hosting our Discipleship and Biblical Counseling conference this year with a special track on "Parenting with Grace and Wisdom" with guest speaker Scott O'Malley from Twelve Stones ministries, as well as our track "Introduction to Discipleship and Biblical Counseling" (identical to last year).
The conference will begin Friday, March 2nd with doors opening at 5:30pm. There will be sessions from 8:00-4:30 on Saturday, and the conference will conclude after Sunday worship services on Sunday, March 4th.
Track 1 – Parenting Track - featuring speakers: Scott O'Malley, Dr. Daniel Bennett, and Pastor Jerry Sanderson
If you are a parent, plan to be a parent or know a parent, or if you work in children's or student ministries this conference is for you. You are called by God to make disciples. This conference will help you become more intentional and effective in your role to train them to love and follow Jesus Christ. You will leave with vital answers and tools to address common parenting pitfalls, reach an angry child, shepherd children from hard places, and among other things, help children overcome sexual immorality.
Track 2 – Discipleship and Biblical Counseling - featuring speakers: Pastor Kent Kloter, Pastor Ben Davidson, and Matt Morgan
If you are a follower of Christ, you are called to love God and love people. This track covers foundational principles needed to develop intentional, meaningful relationships in normal life, formal discipleship and biblical counseling. If you have a desire to grow in your relationship with God and/or with other people, this track will inspire and equip you to relate more confidently with those in your sphere of influence, whether you’re a lay-person or in full-time ministry.
